By Friday, Trump had simply run out of gas. It’s no wonder - we’re going to review why this past week was so horrendous for him. And then - to top it all off - did he have advance notice that one his most stalwart supporters, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, was about to resign? I suspect so. We will discuss.

What we did see by Friday afternoon, was a barely recognizable version of Trump: a soft-spoken, exhausted looking old man, in a bizarre meeting with NYC mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani. Trump seated, looking up at a man he had spent months vilifying, now instead being passive and pacifist. What was happening?

First, as we have covered in this project, Trump is having health issues that are being hidden from the American public. Obviously it is imperative that to maintain his hold on power as an autocrat, that he must portray strength; but lately that has come undone. Among other health concerns, journalists have been reporting that Trump no longer stands at signings and other ceremonies in the Oval Office. Almost all of his media interviews are done while seated.

But I noticed something else as well on Friday afternoon. Trump sounded weak and tired. He sounded and acted defenseless - too tired to pick a fight, and give his supporters what they were hoping for. He looked like a tired, worn out, old man. And it was no wonder given his week. Let’s review.

The Epstein Files

Whatever Trump wants to publicly proclaim, the release of the Epstein files is a thorough drubbing for him this week. Not only that they are being released in some form, but that he has lost his control over the Republican Party, which almost unanimously went against him. For the first time of the second regime.

Whatever is redacted, and whatever is ultimately released, this story is a drip, drip, drip that will haunt both his time in office, and the Republicans in midterms. Trump’s approval for handling the Epstein files is 20%, including just 44% of Republicans - a low point for him of any issue. And here, for the first time, his base has turned against him.

Crypto in Freefall

The second Trump regime ushered in a new grift, cryptocurrency. Trump bragged that he would make the U.S. into the “Crypto Capital'“ of the world! He was so confident of this grift, that he transformed Trump Media & Technology Group Corp, ticker DJT, from a social media based company, hence the name, into a crypto venture.
